Step 5 of the Amazonian Profit Plan is not a whole lot different than many courses on how to buy hosting, buy a domain name, set up WordPress. As a matter of fact, this is not especially newbie friendly. Speaking as an experienced marketer, I understand completely all the intricacies of these basic steps.
But for those who don’t have a clue what a nameserver is or what it means to host your domain, you’ll need to get some help. I personally have learned what I know just by trial and error and Googling -which is fine. I can also recommend reading through the Warrior Forum – there are plenty of other IMers who hang out there that like to help the newbie. As a matter of fact, I will do a post on how to get free training online which involves using the Warrior Forum and other places, for those of you who have little money but lots of time.
Anyway, Paula (again not meaning to leave out Wanda) talks about how to choose a domain name and this is the refreshing part. They take a more long term view meaning it might take a bit longer to see profit but in the long run you’ll have a true piece of Internet real estate – one that will be there till the ‘net falls down. They don’t necessarily go after EMDs (exact match domains) like is being taught so heavily these days. While an EMD has shown to be profitable since you can rank quickly for your particular keyword, recently Google seems to be giving less weight to having the keyword in the domain. Only time will tell if it becomes even less important.
Anyway, I was shocked when Paula told about the kinds of pages that are ranking on page one for their chosen search terms and therefore are making them money. And when coupled with their unique traffic getting techniques, their pages will stay in the top SERPs – without having the exact terms in the domain.
So Step 6 is about getting quality backlinks which equals longterm solid traffic. No real secrets here. It’s just that their hard work in achieving these solid backlinks will stand the test of time. The bulks of these are gotten through guest posting. As you can imagine, these will take some doing to get as your average blog owner may or may not want to take your articles. These take some effort to set up but Paula says these and the links that last.
She talks about other long term types of backlinks which they go into more depth in their free report of Super Traffic Methods that you can pick up by subscribing to their blog. Again, they go all out in this free report which is worth using whether you buy their Amazonian Profit Plan or not.
Their final word – be willing to do the same thing over and over till you see results. Writing and publishing reviews takes roughly 20% of the project. It is the getting of traffic that takes the most work and this is where most marketers come short. This is where, if someone says that some program or systems doesn’t work, it’s not that the system doesn’t work, it is the fact that the marketer doesn’t follow through with the getting of solid long term traffic.
Paula and Wanda tell you this is hard work which is refreshing considering that fact that most “gurus” will tout some easy money plan that you just plug in x amount of effort and voila money appears. Kudos gals!

Overall, Amazonian Profit Plan is the most solid, proven program I have seen put together in one package. For me is would be perfect if they had a forum or a way to get a hold of them for tips and tricks as well as a place for others to share information or trade skills and outsource. Also, even though I don’t like a course that is completely taught from video, it is nice to have some of the finer points shown to you in video form – like how to do the competition analysis.
Is it worth it? For my money, it is the best money spent in a long time. I am already implementing it on my older sites. I really can see that I won’t ever need to buy another domain name again and that is worth its weight in gold, my friend!
Edit: Just for those who wonder if this works, I am going to post my own progress using the APP method. Every month or so I’ll find a way to reveal income in a believable way (for all you doubters
